Who are your favorite writers?

Umm...Good ones. In all seriousness, Brent Weeks is a MASTER writer. If you want to know why, just ask me. I will be glad to tell you. Other favorites include Timothy Moonlight; Dean Koontz; Lois Gladys Leppard; J R R Tolkien; Lynn Austin; C. S. Lewis.

What is your favorite literary genre?

Do I have to pick one? In order of preference, Fantasy, Sci-Fi, Historical Fiction, Mysteries, Non-Fiction that's well written, and Random to cover anything I can't think of right now.

Are there books we might be surprised to find on your bookshelf?

No. I only have good ones.

If you could be any character from literature, who would you be?

Lucy from “The Chronicles of Narnia

You're organizing a dinner party and can invite three authors, dead or alive.

Who's coming and what would you serve?

Lois Gladys Leppard (because she is the author who caused me to fall in love with reading and I would love to hear the real-life stories her books were based upon.) Brent Weeks (because I think he might be my favorite author of all time.) and Lynn Austin (I would just love to be friends with her.)

I would make homemade bread with my homemade blackberry jelly, sautéed fresh green beans simply seasoned with salt, pepper, and garlic powder, and homemade French fries using potatoes from my garden.

I'd ask my husband to smoke ribs or grill steaks for the main dish. We'd have some sweet mint and sage tea (from my garden, of course), and a fig tart, if my new fig tree is producing, along with Peach Kuchen, in case they don’t like figs, for dessert.

What do you plan to read next?
